Oregon Ducks

Oregon Ducks have added a new addition to their wardrobe that was debuted at the Rose Bowl Game which they won 45-38 against Wisconsin Badgers. I first saw the release of the new uniforms on Tuesday when the images went viral. At first glance I was shocked, scared and mesmerized all at the same time. I was shocked because this new design was not what I was expecting; I thought it would have been something less demonic. When I say demonic I do not use it in a derogatory sense, I simply mean everything associated with that word such as, dark, mysterious, frightening, etc. As I looked at the pictures further I imagined myself standing opposite one of these gentleman on the line waiting for the play to commence and the image of this dark and unforgiving 250 pound person heading my way seemed more like the undertaker coming to get me than  my athletic opponent. The uniforms aren't inviting, they are intimidating, which is what they are meant to be. Although they are far from anything fuzzy and warm, they were still mesmerizing to me from the fashion standpoint because they are beautifully executed. The vision that Nike and Oregon had for these uniforms were nothing short of innovative and trend setting. Not only are they a piece of art to look at, the functionality of the uniforms have also improved as well because Nike has incorporated new technology into this new run of uniforms. I posted some of the pictures below. Enjoy!
