Love: I enjoy the floral patterns and how bright and bold the pieces are even though it's for the Fall. I can always count on Erdem to incorporate floral in their designs.
Elie Saab
Love: I really enjoy the silhouettes, I think the waist lines that Elie created are very flattering. I also love the pattern on the gowns and how they remind me of fall transitioning into winter when the trees lose their leaves. Lastly, I love the sophistication of these pieces,the collection and the execution with the use of sheer fabrics.
Gucci
Love: I love the color palette, it reminds me of Fall because it isn't too bright and when accompanied with black it really tones the pieces down. I'm also in love with the use of sheer fabric and the detailing on the black gown on the top right as well as the burgundy dress bottom right. The fall/winter theme really comes through in these pieces.
John Galliano
Love: The easiest way to sum this up is D.R.A.M.A I love the drama in these pieces and throughout his collection. I posted a few of the sheer pieces because sheer is going to be a big trend that is going to carry through to Fall.
Monique Lhuillier
Love: I really love these leather waistlines. The collection is filled with pretty prints inspired by lava and volcanic stones. The red gown is one of my favorites and I'm sure we'll see it on a celebrity this year.
Oscar de la Renta
Love: I love the gorgeous detailing on the green piece; it just exudes elegance. I love the playfulness of this collection and how youthful it is. I also love the color palette.
Vivienne Westwood
Love: Vivienne marches to her own beat which is why she has always been one of my favorite designers. I love that she draws from history to directly influence her pieces. This collection, like so many others, is dramatic and fun and I love it!
